Thoughts & Deeds is an interactive ideas and design shop.
We have conversations. We listen. We get inside your problem and figure out a solution. We partner with other smart folks. We’re small, fast, and effective. You need us.
We make things make sense.
You have a story to tell, an audience to engage, a product/service/idea to market, and stakeholders to please. You have a lot of pieces – large and small – and they all need to come together in a coherent manner. We can help you tell that story, refine it, and devise an interactive strategy. We create engaging, usable websites and application interfaces that make people happy. We kick ass at synthesizing information. We can take your brand strategy, hopes, and dreams and translate them into an online experience that speaks to your audience. We can make your project awesome.
We get sh*t done.
No, really. There’s no dilly-dallying. No blaming, no excuses, and no shirking. From writing briefs to visual design to getting that Flash file prepped for development, we work hard, fast, and get things right. If we were fibbing, would you even consider hiring us? Of course not. That’s why we always tell the truth.
Principal & Art Director: Stacy Westbrook
I am an interactive designer with over a decade of experience in planning, creating, and developing online experiences. Along with a Certificate in Graphic Design from the Pacific Northwest College of Art, I hold a degree in English literature from Reed College. My liberal arts education strongly influences my no-nonsense design style and ability to synthesize branding, technology, and communication into successful websites, application interfaces, e-learning courses, animations, and more. My skills include visual design, user-centered design, information architecture, process development, mentoring, and swashbuckling. I’ve taught Intro Flash at PNCA and Interactive Teams at PSU, and currently teach Introduction to Interactive Media, User Interface Design and Art Direction for the Web at the Art Institute of Portland. I’m involved with The New Communicators. I’m a bike commuter, homebrewer, Oregon Humane Society volunteer, and indoor soccer player. Want more? You got it. Me in 140 Characters. My resumé.
