New location, new partnerships, new projects!
New, new, new!
I moved out of my small Activspace office a few months ago to take a job with a local interactive agency, but that affair only lasted six months. Now I’m in a great new office space with two other designers, where we’re starting a design collective geared toward providing design solutions ranging from marketing and brand strategy to visual design to production. We have 600 square feet, 15 foot ceilings, 5 west-facing windows, all located in the upstairs space of the Melody Ballroom. Our collective venture, happy, inc., will be open for business very soon!
Some recent launches include a Flash animation for Queen Bee Creations, a Portland-based handbag and accessories company. Rhonda Spencer – one of my new business partners – designed the site, and Blue Hill Solutions provided the ecommerce platform, and I did the Flash animation and interactivity on the homepage. Other recent Flash projects include Al’s Garden Center, Impinj, and KinderCare.
Coming soon: A site redesign for Celestial Seasonings, something new for the Girls Scouts – Columbia River Council, a fresh site for Noble Rot, an image-rich redesigned site for Hawksview Estate.
